Join to apply for the PARK ATTENDANT (SEASONAL) role at City of Billings . Park Attendant - $17.50 per hour - Twenty-Six (26) Positions Available. The City of Billings, Parks Department, is seeking Seasonal Park Attendants for the 2025 summer season, with positions lasting three to six months. Hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Minimum Qualifications: Must meet minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and have completed high school. Relevant work experience, such as operating push mowers, litter pickup, playground maintenance, landscaping, weed control, and restroom upkeep, is preferred. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Responsibilities include: Emptying park trash cans, litter pickup, restroom cleaning, shelter and playground maintenance, park bench and picnic table upkeep, and daily park inspections. Occasionally assisting with park irrigation and other miscellaneous tasks. Requirements: Ability to work with tools such as shovels, rakes, weed trimmers, pruning tools, etc. Capable of walking extensively during duties. Performing repetitive motions with tools for yard work and gardening for extended periods. Climbing steep inclines and ladders. Frequent bending at knees and waist, twisting, and turning. Using power weed trimmers and push mowers. Gripping and grasping tools for long durations. Lifting and carrying items weighing 1-50 pounds occasionally. Pushing and pulling objects weighing 1-150 pounds frequently. Maintaining safety awareness and wearing PPE as required. Working in adverse weather conditions, including rain, wind, heat, and cold, and in prolonged sun exposure. Working independently with minimal supervision. Equal Opportunity Employer.
