We are currently seeking a Truck Driver - MFG with a Class-A with Hazmat endorsement immediately to join our team in Tappan, NY! Our CDL Drivers are an integral part of the day-to-day success of our company and all our teams. This team member contributes to the team by their consistency and dependability that each team counts on. This critical role demands someone who is truly a team player and can be flexible within their day-to-day duties.

The starting pay is $25.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience.

What You'll Do:

• Complete pre/post trips inspections and submits reports indicating truck condition
• Maintains driver log
• Loads and unloads truck incoming and outgoing trucks
• Helps keeps the company warehouses organized
• Maintain pallet inventory for return to the Batesville Plant, load when ready for return
• Must maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License and Health Certificate
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to:
  • Production support for the purpose of running lines during idle drive times
  • Red/Green tag of equipment
  • Material handling/Warehouse work

What We Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 3 years of truck driving HAZMAT vehicles and others.
• CDL Class A with HAZMAT required
• Previous mechanical skills a plus.
• Extensive travel required in New England area, 5 – 6 days per week with possible overnight stays. Home most nights.
• Ability to work 50 hours per week on average.
• Ability to work at all hours of the day, if needed.
