• Assignment Type: Travel Surgical Technician\n

• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)\n
• Call: 2-3 weekday (M-F) overnight calls (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and 2x12 hour calls (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)\n
• Weekly Hours: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1420 - $1530 per week\n

\n\nQualifications for OR Tech Jobs\n

\n
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist\n
• Valid Driver's License or State ID\n
• Completion of all required health screenings and immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Physical/Health Statement)\n
• Successful background checks and competency exams\n
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as scheduled\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures\n
• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment\n
• Set up surgical instruments and equipment before procedures\n
• Handle and care for surgical specimens according to protocols\n
• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies\n
• Follow all safety and infection control standards\n
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals\n
