Job Description: Here is a non-exhaustive list of the responsibilities and duties the Pastor of Christ Church Conway must fill:
- Deliver engaging, Christ-centered, covenantal sermons, that demonstrates the unity of scripture
- Lead and coordinate worship services and weekly liturgy
- Collaborate with volunteer staff to ensure the smooth operation of church ministries
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to members
- Engage with the community, attend community events and become part of the fabric of Conway
- Foster hospitality and lead by example; comfortable in both large and small settings
Position Qualifications: Below are the qualifications we are looking for our new pastor to meet:
- Ordained or eligible for ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA)
- Proven experience in pastoral ministry, spiritual leadership, and community engagement Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for outreach, discipleship, and teaching within the church body: including visiting the sick, attending church events and leading classes
- Able to empower and develop others to use their gifts for the building of the church Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks
