We are seeking a Part-Time Breakfast Cook who is available on weekends to prepare and serve high-quality breakfast dishes for our guests. This position is a critical part of our team, ensuring that mornings run smoothly and guests enjoy the best possible start to their day.

We are also offering cooks an even split of tips , rare benefit not typically found in most restaurants!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast items to specifications before and during service.
• Properly measure and portion all food items, following portion sizes and quality standards.
• Cook all food to proper specifications in a timely manner.
• Utilize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, and ovens.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly in compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain freshness and quality of all menu items.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed on daily checklists.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Label and store all products to company standards.
• Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and sanitize kitchen areas.
• Work collaboratively with managers, runners, cooks, and hotel staff in a safe, respectful manner.
• Assist with inventory counts when needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Required: At least one year of experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attentive and detail-oriented.
• Capable of following procedures and taking directions.
• Basic math skills; ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
• Must be available to work weekend morning shifts.
