Keystone Bluffs is a senior living community with a rich history that began in 2000. Centrally located in Duluth, MN and on the bus route, Keystone Bluffs offers 80 beautiful apartments designed with single level living in mind. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments according to the facilitys medication policy, recording and restocking medication inventories, and processing discontinued medication as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON). Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure. Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor. Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary. Report errors in the administration of medications. Review and follow a written care plan. Assist with caring for residents when needed. Perform other duties as requested.
Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution. Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations. Previous experience as a TMA is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
