Mechanical Engineering Intern – ATEQ USA Corporation

Location: Livonia, MI

Duration: 3 weeks to 6 months

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the engineering team in the design, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems and components. This role is ideal for a student seeking real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components .

• Support prototype assembly and testing, including data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical issues.
• Document engineering processes and test results.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems, manufacturing, or product development.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and basic mechanical design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to manufacturing environments or hands-on mechanical work.

• Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, or materials science.
