The Role

Fidelity Capital Markets is the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments providing trading products and services to a wide array of clients including buy-side institutions and hedge funds as well as to Fidelitys own businesses. Fidelity Capital Markets offers a suite of electronic brokerage products and execution services across multiple asset classes including equities fixed income options and forex as well as prime brokerage securities lending and municipal and bank issued brokered CD underwriting. Our product coverage includes Equity Block Sales/Trading Program/Electronic Trading SAM Trading International Equity Trading Prime Brokerage Soft Dollars and New Accounts.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Trader who will work with our RIA client base on equities options UITs currencies mutual funds and IPOs
• Work in a fast paced high intensity trading desk environment
• You have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience with trading trading operations or support or are interested in the end to end trading ecosystem
• Strong client service skills analytical skills detail oriented and comfort working with data
• Interested in operational excellence and capable of analyzing current processes and workflows and provide data driven ideas on how to create efficiencies and better experiences and outcomes for our clients
• Trader will answer client calls throughout the day to help with order entry trading guidance risk management and issue resolution
• Executes orders in accordance with regulatory standards and client best execution
• Speaks regularly with clients and provides market product and trading expertise
• FINRA security licenses: series 7 63 57. Series 24 is optional
• BA or BS degree required.

The Team

We are seeking a trader to join the US Cash Equity Trading team within Fidelity Capital Markets. This specific team executes trades for our advisor client base. The team provides the best execution to our clients by effectively running equity order flow outstanding client service and market expertise. The role will also focus on workflow tools execution quality client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Note: Fidelitywill not provide immigration sponsorship forthis position.

The base salary range for this position is $80000 - $120000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
