Eptyn Insurance was founded in 2019, preceding the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though the pandemic represented catastrophic implications for small businesses, Eptyn overcame the obstacles in the insurance industry by adapting to new technologies and reinventing itself. Retention was key to premium production and ultimately to premium growth.
We exponentially enlarged our book of business in the following years, serving more than 15,000 customers nationwide. We encompass states such as North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky and others.
Our motto is to provide Every Possible Thing You Need, from property and casualty insurance to health and life. We take pride in our customer service standards that have led to many referrals throughout the years. Our purpose is to establish a good relationship between the customer and the insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
Provides service to clients' changing insurance needs by selling life, health, auto, homeowners and commercial insurance.
Develops a base for long-term sources of clients.
Compiles lists of prospects.
Determines clients' particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments and determining the extent of present coverage.
Ascertains clients' long-term goals.
Obtains underwriting approval by completing applications for coverage.
Completes coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow-up visits, and evaluating needs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience or 5 years of customer service.
0440 CSR license a plus.
0240 health insurance license a plus.
Bilingual (English and Spanish fluency)
Able to multitask.
Able to handle large volumes of incoming and outgoing calls.
Able to work on Saturdays.
