Job Description

Recruiter (Contract Role)

About Us:

At Navier, we are building America's next-generation maritime company. Our mission is to create the most compelling, zero-emission marine vessels and enable a new era of clean, scalable waterborne transportation. Our first step is the launch of the N30—America’s first and the world’s longest-range electric hydrofoiling boat. Ten times more efficient than traditional gas-powered boats, the N30 is redefining how people and goods move over water, unlocking new opportunities for 46% of the world’s population living in coastal cities.

Job Description:

Navier is seeking a versatile, experienced, and proactive Recruiter to lead our end-to-end hiring efforts across all functions, and all experience and seniority levels. This is a contract-based role , with flexible hours and the potential for long-term engagement based on performance. You’ll be responsible for developing recruiting strategies, sourcing and engaging top talent, and coordinating a best-in-class candidate experience.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can adapt quickly to evolving needs. You will be a key partner to leadership in building the high-caliber team that will drive Navier’s success.

Why Join Navier:

This is a chance to join a visionary company at the forefront of marine innovation. Work alongside passionate teammates, help shape our culture from the ground up, and play a direct role in building a team that will leave a lasting impact on sustainable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs, build job descriptions, and establish timelines
  • Source, engage, and assess high-quality candidates using a variety of tools and strategies
  • Manage candidate experience from initial contact through offer and onboarding
  • Maintain and optimize recruiting systems and documentation (e.g., ATS, sourcing pipeline)
  • Help define and strengthen Navier’s employer brand through strategic messaging and outreach
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in every stage of the hiring process

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience hiring across various functions (technical, commercial, leadership)
  • Exceptional communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of recruiting tools, platforms, and metrics
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and mission-driven work
  • Experience hiring in the EV, mobility, or maritime industries is a plus
