We’re seeking a dependable and motivated Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team and provide guests with a fresh, high‑quality breakfast experience each morning. Base Pay Range $18.00/hr – $22.00/hr Benefits Competitive salary Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and supplemental options 401k with employer match Paid PTO Uniforms provided for most positions Team member hotel discount program Essential Functions Prepare and cook breakfast menu items such as eggs, meats, pancakes, waffles, and other hot or cold items according to recipes and guest preferences. Set up and stock the breakfast station with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service. Ensure all food is prepared and served at the correct temperature and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area throughout the shift. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or needs to the supervisor. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service. Greet and assist guests courteously when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of breakfast and short‑order cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand and work in a fast‑paced kitchen for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and handling of kitchen tools and equipment. Must be able to tolerate exposure to heat and cooking fumes. Ability to handle sharp utensils safely and operate standard kitchen equipment. Qualification Standards High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a breakfast or line cook preferred, but not required. Food handler certification preferred or must obtain upon hire. Must be available to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
