  Epitaxy Equipment Technician

HIGHLIGHTS

Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Equipment Technician with specific experience in Epitaxy tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Epitaxy equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wafer fab and related semiconductor processing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and process teams to ensure optimal tool performance and uptime.
• Utilize electro-mechanical knowledge to diagnose system issues and execute corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of maintenance and performance activities.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with Epitaxy tools is required.
• Facilities’ experience, not expert, but a working understanding of the facilities (peripheral equipment to the Epi tools)
• Secondary experience with wafer fab equipment preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and comfort working with complex machinery.
• Proven track record in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool uptime optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in high-volume semiconductor fabrication environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Local candidates strongly preferred due to the hands-on nature of the role.
